Recommended for young adults or parents to read with their kids
Derived From Web , May 31, 2022
I was hoping for a deeper series of stories, teachings or meditations to help me become closer to the Creator, but the book was very small, just a page for each day with a short quote from a tribal leader andor a did you know? Every month there was a red road lesson '', most of which any adult would already be familiar. That said, I would recommend parents buy this book and read the date with their young adult or perhaps give it as a gift to a coming of age '' young adult the year before their vision quest or perhaps as a gift for a girl's sunrise ceremony. Parents, it would take two minutes to discuss it with your kid every morning and once a month you could do that red road lesson '' and expand on it with your own teachings.

My wife got this book for Christmas from me. i found it on a different site and asked for it. i'm realy happy that she got it for me. The discription i read on the other site was not even close to what is in this little book. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is to read the words of Wisdom. i find it very insparational. It is only the 17th of Jan. and I have repeated the quotes several times to other people. i can see what is next hardly any. i'm enjoying it alot. i would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in American history or culture for any reason. No matter what you believe in spiritualy, Most of the daily readings will help you find a better path. Whether it is the red road or a different path, does not matter. If you read the words written in your heart, i feel truly ''. From this book you will be Nifit Spiritualy.

Not very spiritual based
Derived From Web , May 31, 2022
This daily reading text is enjoyable, but not spiritually based, as the title leads me to believe. It is not a very good daily meditation book, but is overall quite enjoyable.

Excitement turned to disappointment
Derived From Web , Sep 10, 2019
I was excited to receive this book, but the excitement turned to disappointment when I read the Did you know? '' for the date of September 10. It states that cotton cloth was invented by the American Indians first. As a researcher of facts, I could not find anywhere that said that this is true.

Good book with hard truths
Derived From Web , Jan 14, 2019
It is very difficult to survive civil in a country where 95% of your people were killed in 400 years ago. However, us elder ones came to us the winds of change. We must go to the Red Road and teach the younger ones to do the same. Evergreen, now more than ever. I am overjoyed when a Native American person seeks to reconnect with young blood. Many then find their way home. Night Horse - Hunter has always been my stalwart night.
