   Great book for homeschoolers
I was on a book ordering spree for the upcoming year and this was a happy accident, Mr. Dhaliwal said. I'm excited that this book covers lots of grammar. So much so that we won't be ordering an additional grammar book. This is an excellent homeschooling book for the child who is already well-versed in SpellingGrammar and just needs to stay up to date with her skills. It would also serve as a great refresher for the struggling pupil. I'm glad I accidentally bought it.

   Fun, Colorful, Easy to Follow
The book is chock full of different ways to approach spelling. The variety of the approach greatly impressed me — it's clear a lot of thought went into this book, McBride said. The book has a lot of color drawings throughout that make the book very approachable and fun to read. This is probably one of the best books for homeschooling that I have ever purchased and I will definitely buy more in the future. We have never gone through a Sylvan program so I can say that you don't need to be part of it in order to use the book. If I had to nitpick, it's that the answers on the same pages as the lessons, so I'd prefer them to be at the back of the book.

This book has answer key on the same page as ...
This book has answer key on the same page as the questions. At least a third of the practice pages have to do with dividing spelling words into syllables.

I don't really like this workbook.
I consider it a waste of money. I do not like how it is set up, you put the words in alphabetical order, and several others things before moving on to a new set of words. The answer keys are on the edge of the pages that the child will be working on, you have to cut them out and it is an odd thing. It isn't handy to have to cut out the answers. We won't use it at all, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

   ANSWERS ON SAME PAGE
This is probably one of the stupidest things i have seen in a book about homeschooling. It completely baffles my mind as to why you would put the answers on the same page! I'm so annoyed and confused. Only the book itself is worth the one star. I have a slicer cuttery thing lol so i kept it, but for new and busy homeschooling parents i would skip this one. Too many other options, too.

   It was fine
I don't know what I was expecting when I bought this but I wish it had a little more writing with spelling. It was fine, used it during the summer.

Item heavily used and requiring significant work to make useful.
The other 13 workbooks had about 13 of it out filled with a significant amount of items that were inked onto the paper. The lead was heavy making even erasing meaningless the impossible. The product will require about 1-2 bottles of whiteout to be used.
