   Good quality, overwhelming layout
My boys, ages 7 and 12, love N.R.A.'s "o-pedia" books. This one was a lot harder to read. The customer service is great. Pictures are great, Blair said. But some pages are literally filled with tiny words from one edge to the other. It's cool to look at all these facts, but it's hard for a child to read." The fact is, facts are divided by category which is awesome but it just didn't get much reading around here. For a kid that age, it would be better. While 5,000 facts is a lot to pack into a book, I think a child would do better with 1,000, he said.

Great book for kids or adults
This book says nat geo kids but I bought it for my special needs brother who is 27 and LOVES fast facts, Melissa. There are some things in here that I didn't even know! This is a great find, said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of NASA's Ames Research Center in California. It's easy to digest, but it's not too childish or condescending either. Part 3 is titled "The Fall of the Roman Empire." So I'm going to get the other parts as well for separate gifts for him for a different occasion.

   Not easy for young kids
The writer of the book admits that the words are too small and close, making them difficult to read. It's not easy for a kid to sit still for long.

   Not great...sorry.
This is, in fact, a parody of a children's book. Like a teenager's book, Rowling's is a sprawling, often irreverent, parable in the "Harry Potter" series. There are a lot of facts, but it's just that boring. Even if it was a kid, I would not really be interested in that. It looked really cool and I even bought two of them for gifts, but after looking through it I realized it was too advanced for the 8-year-old.

Best of All - Our Grand Sons' loved the books!!!
These books were given to two of our GrandSons and they were hits from the time they got the wrapping paper torn off, Mrs. Mills said. The kids then read the papers and ask the scientists what they think the answer is. Both are reading more and are enjoying it best of both worlds! It's just that they call it quits."

   Love it!
This was a Christmas present for my nephew, 9 years old, and he loves it! He is usually quiet, but was so excited to tell me all the new things he learned reading his book. I'm a huge fan of Saul's work, and I think this is a great read. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

   Great gift for any reader!
The book was a little busier than I would have liked for him.

Lots of neat facts for kids if you can get them to open a book!
I like it, I hope my grandson enjoys it as much as I thought he would, but he's also a little too into his electronic devices and I'm not sure how much he's reading when he doesn't have to, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. We're having a blast, said Bustamante.

   Great purchase!
Bought as a present for my 11 year old son. Both of us found it to be a cool book. The book is actually pretty cool too - definitely so much to look at and read, Mary. Definitely recommend!

   Love these books!
We're delighted we found the second book, Simon & Schuster said. My kids love them, and take them everywhere we go. We all learn a lot, they say. This is a wonderful read for all ages.
