   Great for bedtime!
I bought this for my three-year-old granddaughter, who loves the Pooh stories. She has the plush characters so that when we read any Pooh story we have to have all the characters out and about center so that we know the story is about them. We love art and stories. Plus, the book is nice hardcover and has a sturdy cover. It has become one of my favorite books to read with her!

   Classic Winnie the Pooh story book.
Love the stories in this book, also the illustrations are done very well! My Grandd loves it, and that is what really matters to me! I say tho- the stories are more like 10-15 minutes if outloud is read so that it can easily stretch storytelling from 10 to 30 minutes. Nevertheless, I will recommend this book to children, especially to others.

   Ok but not great
Book of great quality. Disappointed that it was not the traditional stories that it was. Probably wouldn 't have flipped through it in person if I bought it.

   Great quick bedtime stories for preschool and up.
These 5 minute bed time stores are great for 2.5 or older if your toddler likes to sit still and has an advanced mind for his age. I have purchased three of these and only my older toddler grandchildren and loved them. The stories are more detailed with more words than pictures '', as the little ones say. Great books for elementary and middle school children.

   Sharing medicine?!
I really hope that Roo's '' stretching medicine is not a prescription, as in a story, Pooh takes it instead when Roo refuses to take his bedtime medication. As a child caretaker, I do not approve of the message that it is okay to give others medication! I plan to tape those pages closed and forget that they exist! '' This is in addition to spelling mistakes and some awkward sentence structure. Some of the characters'voices simply do not sound right for the character, in a few of the stories. I find myself stumbling while reading aloud from this book simply because it does not sound right for the character.

I've always hoped that these stories would be more creative and lively. But I found them to be tedious in most cases. I bought the book for a nine-year-old friend who loves Pooh etc., but she found the stories neither interesting. A problem of the tedious style.

   A new favorite
My grand daughter already has a 5 - minute book Mickey Mouse. The pictures are really large and nice. The pastel colors are what I love the most. The story is easy to read because the picture has so much to look at. We can discuss the picture on the second time through the book.

   Good enough intro to classic Pooh
This is our 4 year old son's bedtime read. Before purchasing, we started with the classic Pooh stories, which have complex text and few pictures. In time we will return to the classic, but this is very comfortable for now.
