   Cute book, but...
Why was the messaging so negative? Each planet is described with negative attributes they might want to change about themselves, but also with attributes that make them like themselves. I don't want to be like, "X dislikes Y about herself, but Z makes up for that" They shouldn't dislike themselves.

   Cute Book
A science based book for kids. My three year old likes it. I cried when I read the back of the book. I feel bad for Pluto not being included as a minor planet.

Good intro to the solar system
I got this book for my niece as a birthday gift. She knows her colors, days of the week, land and ocean animals. We wanted to give her something new to learn from. The book has a sing song kind of rhythm which makes it cute. It just doesn't have any substance. Each planet and one thing about the planet are what it tells you. Maybe I expect too much from a book for toddlers. My niece is a sponge and likes to learn new things.

   Ugh
I'm sorry, but I don't like this book. It's hidden and out of reach. Why are the planets different? Does each planet want to be better? No, it is a planet. Pale blue Earth should be filled with trouble. Being at home with all this life is hard. The third planet doesn't feel tense. It is quite proud to be the most dense. 8 little planets are happy and ready for some fun. That is really the wording in the book. To top it all off, my son makes me count all the moons on the Jupiter page. It was terrible, just terrible.

   The perfect book for babies!
I bought this to start a book collection for my 20 month old, and I'm so happy I did! My toddler is very fond of it. It's colorful, well drawn, and educational. This is a great book to teach kids how to appreciate books.

Nice book. Could have been better.
I am not a fan of this rhyme. The parts about Earth didn't rhyme and are kind of grim. It should be filled with conflict. Being home to all this life must be difficult. I wonder if toddlers understand the word strife. There is something filled of turmoil.

WOULD OF GIVEN 10* IF I COULD OF.......
I am very happy with my purchase of 8 Little Planets! I would give it 10 stars because it is very colorful and easy for little hands to hold and turn the pages. My grandson will love this book on his birthday. I needed the delivery to be fast. I am a new customer of Amazon. com, and have given reviews on each item I have received so far. I am very pleased with Amazon. com. The book is worth the new sale price. I recommend it, you won't be sorry.

Great for that space loving toddler
My daughter enjoys learning about the planets. The book is well written. Some of it reads a little clunky, but once I read it aloud, it becomes a lot easier to read. You get 9 pages in this board book, one for each planet, and one page to see them all circling the sun.

   Cute and Informative
A cute book. My husband is fond of all things space and he has enjoyed reading this to her a few times.

   Weird, Just Weird
Excellent artwork! It was weird that the writer described the planets with emotions. What was that about? The book was returned by me. I was interested in learning more about the solar system.
