Kelly and Megan could not be happier for their friend Allison Dubois-a young, talented, up-and-coming artist. Invited by a designer to join her New York studio, Allison is about to embark on a new life. But when Kelly and Megan arrive at Allison's apartment to drive her to the airport, they find her dead on the floor, apparently from an overdose of sleeping pills. The police suspect suicide, but Kelly and Megan aren't convinced. Soon Kelly discovers that while Allison's career was on the fast-track, her social life was a mess. A bad news boyfriend, a jealous design student, and a mysterious man named Brian are all prime suspects in Kelly's book. Now it's up to Kelly and her crafty friends from the House of Lambspun to unravel this tightly stitched puzzle . . .

   An apparent suicide disturbs Kelly
There are three books in the Knitting Mystery series. Kelly and Megan are going to take Allison to the airport to start her internship. They found her dead of an apparent overdose when they arrived. Megan can't believe that her friend would kill herself, so they start to investigate. jealous students and a bad boyfriend are possibilities. Kelly is trying to decide if she should return to corporate life or stay in her old home. She and Steve are in the early stages of a relationship. The book includes a pattern at the end, and knitting plays a key role in the story.
Another winner by Maggie Sefton! She is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors!
The women's knitting group is very close to my heart. Kelly is a good sleuth. Each and every time, her friends are fun and full of fun and they make for an engaging story.
   Easy read
The easy read was good for me. The yarn shop in Fort Collins is where the story is to have taken place. It's nice to know that the characters are in the library.
   A Deadly Yarn (Knitting Mystery)
The plot is thin and predictable in the novel, but I like the characters and setting. The characters are working on knitting projects that make me want to get out my needles and work.
I like the book and author. Can't wait to read the next chapter. Like the references to yar.
I like to get away from the everyday world and be ...
I like to be entertained and away from the everyday world. The Who- did- it aspect of the book kept me interested. I would like to know more about the characters and people. Like I do, they have their up and down issues. Carl adds some humor as well.
   Loved it!!
Great read. It's mysterious, funny and intense. The series has kept me entertained. These are mysteries that I' ve read before. I'm not a fan of romance books. Unless it is in a mystery book.
