This 12 thick book was in a 5.5 inch box without a single piece of packing whatsoever, thrown in a 12 thick box. How it beat me despite being tossed around inside, but I no longer consider it NEW ''.

Lovely autobiography

I have been looking for a book on Asian female artists. Bought this book as a Christmas gift for my little budding 5 yo artist friend, and she loved it. The book provides a biographical background to Ruth's life, and some famous names associated with her. The pictures are also very interesting.

Ruth Asawa is a worthy role model for young artists
Derived From Web , Jan 17, 2020
The last year my daughter and I went to see a Ruth Asawa exhibition ; we both fell in love with her sculptures. I have received this book for Christmas and she loves it. The drawings are engaging and the story is great. This is a beautiful book for any child who is interested in art, especially girls looking for role models. Art history is dominated by males, but there are many females who finally get the spotlight they deserve.
