A perfect introduction for young children
Derived From Web , May 31, 2022
This book is a perfect introduction to birds with the emphasis on how birds develop nests, how chicks develop inside eggs and how birds care for their young. The story continues a family of Robins, but a variety of other birds is also introduced. One thing that distinguishes this book from other informational science books is that the illustrations are gentle, high-quality illustrations, not photographs. This makes it feel more like a story and less like a mini text book, which I actually find really nice. I think that he becomes more out of it over the next few years as he continues to process more deeply the information. We have ten or twelve other books from the science series Let'; s Read and Find Out, and this is one of the best.

I received an admirable book for my grandson, whom I had told the story of me when I first looked for birds - eggs in the spring in bird nests on our farm. He was fascinated and loves the book.

great book about birds and their nests
Derived From Web , Sep 9, 2020
After receiving the book, my kid experienced almost the same scenario as in the book itself. A robin decided to use our fir tree to make a nest, so we were able to see all stages, from nesting to seeing robin blue eggs, to looking at hatchlings.

Good science book on ROBIN nests, eggs, and baby birds.
Derived From Web , Apr 3, 2018
A good science book on the birds - nests, eggs and baby birds. It focuses on Robin and even includes that the birds migrate to avoid the winter and return in spring. There is a little bit too much detail and words for average toddlers, but suitable for high school through young 3rd grade. I start reading the book at the age of 4 with my son, but may first use the pictures instead of just the text.
