If you need to explain or illustrate how seeds, plants and humans work together, this would be the perfect book for you to do that with. The illustrations are exceptional, as are the written pieces accompanying them. I love the vocabulary used to describe the seeds, and feel it is a perfect addition to a classroom library, Ms. Caramore said.

I bought all four of the books in this collection for my children recently and I am so happy with the purchase, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Each book is beautifully illustrated and filled with interesting facts. I homeschool my children, ages 2, 3, and 10, and I love that these books are able to interest all of them. The larger text is enough to teach my 2 and 3 year olds the basics of how plants grow, while my older children enjoy the details and have fun pointing out the plants and they are familiar with them, Melissa said. I like to display them alongside our nature shelves. These are certainly what Charlotte Mason would call living books and are a great jumping off point for nature walks and journaling.

Great illustrations, said Goodrich. The variety of seeds and the beautiful, colorful, detailed drawings make this book stand out. I have read both the kindle and the printed book versions, and the printed book experience is infinitely superior to the kindle version. It's great to share this wonderful book with your children, but make sure you purchase the non-electronic version.

This book has all the makings of a hit. Beautiful, accurate and accessible content, and a poetic style, he said. It also contains tier 2 descriptive vocabulary associated with the seed, plus a drawing of the parts of a seed. It makes a great read aloud engagement for my science lesson on engineering a seed that can fly, he said. The book would be appropriate for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

This book is so beautiful and perfect for spring break. It's great to see that it grows with your child. Then there's a medium-sized font for another level of learning, and even a smaller size with lots of fun facts. It quickly covers germination, flowering and fruit, pollination, seed parts, plant growth, photosynethesis and more. For those who care, there is no mention of evolution in the book.
