   Great for young ladies!
Purchased for a 10 year old girl, she ended her elementary school years and preparing for the middle school. American Girl Smart Girl books are great for this age group. She learned manners and how to express herself. At times, I remind her to pick it up and use it like a reference book is that she is wondering how to approach certain subjects or difficult situations. I highly recommend ''.

I love it AND my girls love it.
This book approaches ways from an angle that kids can really digest. I think this series is so valuable as it puts the acquisition of these skills literally in their hands. Not super great again, but involved for a 7 and 9 year old. A good jumping point. With all this series, I recommend that you read it cover to cover as well as knowing what they are getting and what needs to be supplemented.

Teaching your child strong social skills is one of the best gifts you could ever give.
For the last few weeks, I read this to my daughter and we both enjoy it. She is nine, and the book is appropriate for her age and her. The books discuss many social situations and then covers them in a direct and practical way. I see her applying social skills after reading the following days ; it is a joy to see. This book is highly recommended.

Covers lots of areas parents forget to talk with their daughter's about
This book covers everything from how to act properly in different settings, party behaviours, interacting with friends and how to eat at weddings and funerals. It educates girls about somethings they may be naturally inclined to do, but also explains limits and things that it isn 't polite to say or do.

   A Book For Every Generation
My 11 year old daughter has great manners, but AG hits again on points that parents sometimes overlook. This is a must have for every girl to read and keep this book. My daughter keeps all her AG books in a small library to pass to her daughter when she grows up.

Just the thing for my daughter!
When I noticed that my daughter could use some great little lessons in manners, a friend recommended this purposeful book. Each lesson is very short and also light and funny. We read a section a day as part of our program, and it gives us the opportunity to discuss what we do and why we do it. Simple, fast, effective. I highly recommend it for a kid who is not picking this stuff up on her own!
