It is practical and smart, it is the kind of book that you want to keep close at hand. We originally borrowed it from the library and did not want to give it back, so we bought our own 9 - year old and I both love it, it is filled with practical and inspired ideas on entrepreneurship, healthy money management and building wealth. I wish someone would have given me a book like this to read when I was a child... it would have saved years and years of trial and error in learning how to manage my finances!

This is a small but great first book about money. It addresses common themes at a surface level and is a great jumping-off point for any further money talks. What's more, they really enjoy it, which is the key. I feel like it is the beginning of the road to financial literacy.

My daughter bought it and read it in a day from front to back. She loved her and it has actually made her stop and think before she spends her money. The only downside is that nowadays she has so many ideas for making money that every day she drives me crazy about trying to do it all today! I would highly recommend it for young teens.
