I love this book so much! It helps me show love through my love language better with my daughter. After answering the questionnaire to find out her love language, I was surprised to learn that it was not what I had previously guessed was her love language. As we go through the book together, I hope it will also help her in her friendships.

When I started this book, i felt like the author was trying to relate entirely too much to the world of the teenagers. i was exhausted because most of the things they were saying did not relate to me as a teenager, but when I got into the flesh of the book, it grew on me. There were still some things I did not agree on, like the overuse of God to justify their words, but overall it is a great book if you are struggling with relationships of any kind.

My middle schooler with Ado began to question why some of his friends are acting a certain way, so I bought him this book, since the original changed my life for the better. He said that he has helped him a lot. Very good book for the middle school.

One section on sex that was light and promoted good discussion in our family. Was a great starting point for many discussions about love and respect. I sat and read it in about an hour before giving a copy to each of the boys. Combines nicely with the online 5 - Love - Languages - surveys for kids and teens. Results of the surveys paired with talks from the book themes gave me and my wife more insight into how to connect with our young men the most.

We used this as the basis for our high school girls's small group study. The book can easily be divided into a 6 -- 8 week study. We did it in 5 weeks, but would have preferred it longer. At the end of the chapters, loved the questions! Highly recommended for teens and their parents, small groups, or Sunday School.

Wow, what a difference! This book was ridiculously simple and a very easy read. It dramatically improved my life and my relationships for the better. Sometimes I had to just put the book down and ask myself why I don 't think of that? In all, it was a fantastic read. Everyone : Happy reading!
