In this case, each page is filled with images, integrated into a delightful whole. Besides squirrels, chipmunks scurry, while birds flit among the trees. More than the soothing pastime of coloring, this book and others by the author educate and entertain.

Scenes in this coloring book are beautiful.
Derived From Web , May 14, 2022
For me, coloring is a huge stress reliever! In the past, I have always bought children's coloring books and colored them. When adult coloring books began hitting the stores, I was very excited. I was really happy to see that there are apparently a lot of adults out there who enjoy coloring just as much as I do. I love nature and thought that this would be a cute book to color. After it arrived, I was a little disappointed in it. The pages have entirely too many thick black details on all the pages, so that at first glance everything is black. It looks really kind of hardly anything to color. Without all this detail, I would have liked this book. When I color, I just need the picture to look at and I will fill my own details with different coordinating colors the way I want it to color. I will say that the scenes in this coloring book are absolutely beautiful, and I would have given it 5 stars if it had not had all the black-and-white details.

"A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED "
Derived From Web , May 14, 2022
This is my 5th DOVER COLORING BOOK. This is not quite what I had hoped for. The pictures to color do not cover the entire page. Yes, there is a discrimination of the animals on each page and everything about it's life in the woods, everything you could want to know about that particular animal without losing the scientific name, and I think that the younger coloring inthuseist would enjoy these pages, more than just the color.

Not much to color...
Derived From Web , May 14, 2022
The pictures are drawn with a lot of shading. It looks too dark. My daughter did not like it. The quality of the paper, word font and shading is really not kid-friendly. I gave it 3 stars because it is described as described and there are a lot of details about the animals that I can use for some assignment.

Images are small and detailed
Derived From Web , Nov 29, 2021
The concept of this book is great, but I was not pleased with the execution of the idea. The images in the book are somewhat detailed and very small. This is that for some images there seems to be more white from the outlines than black of the paper. This level of tiny detail can be difficult for some age groups who might want to color these animals. It is also a problem for a person who wants to practice coloring without having to do their own drawings, say. I think the dark black lines take up too much space, leaving little room for color. A few of the images are larger or have larger subjects or are a more simple background, but not many.

I love this coloring book
Derived From Web , Jul 23, 2021
I feel like I have had pages or at least colored pages from a coloring book by Dover before I was a child. At the same time, I don 't remember the specifics. This book does, however, love. I typically color in alcohol markers, but you can not do that with this book if you want to color all of the pages. I had some mild bleeding with a gel pen, but oily color pencils, gel pens and regular pens did not bleed through. The pages are thinnish. The information is interesting and helps you decide what colors to use, etc. Since then, I bought others and will probably collect them all if they are continually printed.

Not what I wanted.
Derived From Web , Jun 28, 2021
This is not what I expected or wanted. I didn 't expect there to be so much writing on the pages, or at all, as I did not see that it showed in the image. It also looked like it was going to be simpler pictures than it is, I am more of a painter myself, but I wanted to do something simple to entertain myself when I was bored! I also dislike very much that it tells you what colors should be the animals and plants... It feels kind of like it's rules and there are no rules when it comes to art, so I don 't like it at all. I understand that it can be educational as well, but it has kind of ruined my mood. I am not even reading them until I feel done with the pictures, because it feels like you should do, when you can look just like something should be ( Btw, this is definitely more of a colored pencil book, not crayons ).
