The book is bigger than I anticipated. It is worth it. When I opened the book, one of the pages was damaged because it was stuck together.

It's X-ray Technologist
Derived From Web , Sep 16, 2020
My daughter loves this book. We bring it with us. I like that it shows girls that they can do the same things as men. It includes careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Women from all walks of life are depicted. What can he be for my son? Ballet and nursing are female- dominated careers in the boys' book. The only complaint I have is the X. I'm an x- ray tech, not a technician. I was excited to see my profession represented for my kids to see, and I know it sounds trivial, but words matter, and there is a difference. We go to school, have a degree, and get a license. After graduation, we take board exams to earn that license. The work we do with radiation is more complex than people realize. x- ray technologists are people who do x- ray work.

My daughter likes this book. We bring it with us. I like that it shows girls that they can do the same things as men. It also includes arts, athletics, andSTEM careers. The women in the illustrations are all from different walks of life. What Can He Be for my son is also in my possession. Ballet and nursing are included in the boys' book. The only complaint I have about this book is the X. I was excited to see my profession represented for my kids to see, but I know it sounds trivial, but words matter and there is a difference. We have a degree and a license. We have to take board exams to get that license after graduation. We work with radiation all day, every day, and it's more complex than people realize. We are technologists.

Empowering my daughter to dream BIG! Love it !
Derived From Web , Jun 23, 2020
My daughter likes this book. The first letter of the book's title is A and she calls it the astronauts book. She has been pretending that she is an astronomer. She was acting like a helpless princess. I like to find books that help women, and give my daughter books to read. The illustrations offer a lot of detail and keep my daughter engaged. I like that it gives an actual description of the occupation, instead of just saying A is for Astronaut. It feels like a story with flash cards. I thought it might be a little expensive for a kids book when I first purchased it. It is worth it. The quality is excellent. It can take a beating, but it is hard bound. My daughter takes it everywhere and it has held up well. It's a must buy for your daughter, grand child, or gift.
