Cute book for D&D loving parents to read to their little ones
It's super cute! My husband was excited when we found this book. He reads it to our 5 month old at night. The pictures are cute, they picked words that are great vocabulary words, and they only apply to someone that knows and understands DandD lore, which makes it awesome. It shows the spirit of DandD for someone who hasn't played it, but it also has a cute nod to the game for players reading it to their little ones. I would love a board book version, so my son could hold onto it.

My 3yr old grandaughter loves it! Her parents and uncle play D&D and she wants to be involved
My grandchild adores the book and I love the illustrations. She will be getting a 123 book for her birthday. Who doesn't need a cape when they are a fearless adventurer? She will be playing with them in the adventures they are designing. She is not afraid of monsters because she loves them. She states that if a monster came to her house, they would just destroy it so cute that a 3 yr old would hear it.

Such a fun bedtime ritual that provides something for my daughter that she can't get somewhere else.
My daughter is a big fan of Disney Princesses and My Little Pony, but that's fine with me. I want to have something that encourages her to adventure, develop a strong and supportive group of friends, and allow her to imagine and explore beyond the boundaries of established characters and their defined roles within their world. I want her imagination to grow with her understanding of herself and DandD is a great way to do that. The cover of this book caught my 3 year old little girl's attention and she asked me to read it nightly. It's rewarding to have her notice the female wizard who leads and supports her group and helps them by giving them magic shoes, and it's even better to have her point out Almiraj. When she leaves this book, I' ll keep it in my memory treasure chest.

Great book but came in damaged
The product is great, the inside is fun and colorful, the artwork is great, and the book content is great. The book had a huge scratch in the upper left- hand corner. In order to have it replaced I would have to go to a store and send it back, which would take time out of my life because of someone else's mess up, and then I would have to pay for it again. I paid full price for the damaged book.

   4 year old loves it
4 year old loves the illustrations and most of the words are pronounceable. Most of them can be sounded out easily. He likes to point out the different creatures in the illustrations. It would definitely recommend for early readers. The only negative I have for the book is that if you' re reading straight through and not stopping at every page to point out creatures and things the adventurer are doing, the rhythm can feel a little off.

Great book for babies and kids (and D&D-loving parents)!
I bought this book to read to my unborn baby, and it has been great. I like to feel small kicks through my wife's stomach while I read. As a DandD player who enjoys the book's contents myself, I plan to use the illustrations and DandD terms in the infant and toddler years.

   Great illustrations
My child loves the book. The pictures look good. It isn't very DandD specific, my only complaint.

   Same as "ABCs of RPGs"
If you don't already have the author's book, this is a good repackaging of it, but a disappointment.
