   What a difference...
The 4 th edition of the Absolute Sandman, Vol 4 was almost unreadable. The strong showing of Vol 1, the decent work on Vol 2 and 3, and the slide began to the bottom of Vol 4 is a waste. I couldn't keep track of the characters because I couldn't tell who they were from the artwork. It is sad when one looks forward to something only to be frustrated about how it ends.

   THE BEST ABSOLUTE SERIES
These are the ones to get if you' re going to buy a series. All of the books are amazing. Some of the best comic art I' ve ever seen is in this oversized edition, which only looks more grandiose. There is a table of contents, sewn binding, thick paper, vibrant ink and some extras in each book. This is the end of the series. There is a volume five, but it only contains short stories or one- shots that don't directly relate to the main story thread. The ending is finished by Gaiman. The main story and all of the side stories come together in a way that leaves you wanting more, but that there won't be. The omnibus is nice, but I highly recommend you grab the Absolute set instead. You have no excuse for not seeing this artwork in this format, it is such a great product. Buy this!

   ... even read this story as I expected I would love it from what I'd heard
I received all of the Absolutes before I read the story, as I was expecting it to be great. Fortunately, my investment was well worth it, as I love the Journey that dream goes on, and I also love how beautiful these books are.

The books are great, no bones about it, and the volumes are an excellent way to enjoy the story. I hope the new stories are released in a similar fashion.

Another winner and another absolute from Amazon. There were no flaws. This main story has an incredible ending. Came ahead of schedule once again.

Not quite as good as the previous three albums, except for a few sections. It is still a good conclusion to the saga.

   Beautiful Conclusion
The main saga has a final absolute. There is an amazing format and story. The new inking is better than the old one. It is so much clearer. The slip cases are eye popping, the books are beautiful and massive, and this is the definitive format in my opinion. I know the quality level of the Preacher Absolutes, so I plan on getting it next. I' ll add the other 3 absolutes after that.
