Plain English
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
This is a good primer for young students entering the accounting profession and for small business owners who want to know the basics without the details. This book is free from jargon and assumes no previous knowledge of accounting. I have never seen another discussion on accounting that covers this much material so quickly.

a very useful basic guide
Derived From Web , May 22, 2022
I think this is a wonderful book as short simple explanations go. It is important to note what country you are in, as some formulas and descriptions could slightly differ. I made sure I check with my Australian text and added additional information while using this guide. I love it's simplicity and straight-forward explanations make it easier to grasp accounting terminology. We'll do an excellent guide.

Revealing the Meaning Behind Numbers...
Derived From Web , Apr 24, 2020
As someone who has never considered myself a Numbers person '', I was relieved that I could understand the accounting ideas, definitions, and principles detailed in this book! In addition, I now recognize the relationship between different aspects of a financial report of a company and where this information is derived in the first place. The author provided many useful examples to help me better understand the principles of accounting. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a comprehensive overview of the basics.

Not helpful
Derived From Web , May 28, 2019
If you plan on using this for school along with an accounting textbook, I don 't recommend. I bought that because I was looking for a different POV by explaining topics, just something small ''. This author talks about what is in accounting but does not go into much detail at all. Essentially, it is useless. As others said, the font is large and it can really be like a 50-sided book. I also said something about using a school textbook : this book covered only the first 3 chapters of an accounting course.
