   Add clarity to your acting
When you need clearer actions with precise meanings that better express the intent of your character. The back section is the best arrangment for me and the easiest to use, as it groups word under headings, e.g. Loving actions, destroying actions, etc.
A friend recommended this book when I was in the point of rehearsal where I had three lines that I could not figure out what to do with. It is indispensable! Verbs are categorized alphabetically and by emotional groups. This makes the book useful from the beginning, where I am getting a general idea of my characters'intentions, but need actions to play in the rehearsal all the way to the end, when I am very specific. I just flip it every now and again, and the words stick. When you play in rehearsal, new actions pop up in your head as options. The introduction was also a nice refresher.
Excellent and useful reference for authors too!
While most people buy this book for use on the stage, I found this book to be a useful gem of a book. Sometimes, writers get stuck in a rut when they start writing new stories. This book gives some new ideas to breathe excellent alternative life into characters on a page. It is easy to perform cross-reference actions and come up with other methods to get your characters into gear and realistically move. This makes an excellent reference for the actor, screenwriter and novel author.
   Very Useful
This book will be useful for any actor. I give it a 10 out of 10 rating. For example, it gives tons of options for slaying a script.
In perfect condition! This book is a perfect size to ...
This book is a small size to carry in a perfect bag. I love using it when I do scene work!
Been in the business for 35 years, and I love this!
For those times when you feel stuck or just to give you a nudge in a different direction, great resource. I love it!
   So DOPE!
I am now able to view script as well as read what the actors are doing exactly according to the examples provided by the book. This book allows you to take simple script that has no direction and apply any kind of action to a script, so that you no longer have to sit and wonder how you are going to play this out. This book gives you the ability and words to play any scene... And most importantly, every line in the scene with a different action. You can have the same scene as 20 different people's no longer have to play the same scene, because every sentence in your scene can be a different action, which gives you a head-up on a competition simply because no one else is doing this!
Invaluable Tool for an Actor or Writer
I have done a score using small and well organized verbs in the acting, this transitive book is invaluable. I like how the verbs are grouped by their intent. You can get a definition by clicking on the verb just right. It is also very useful as a thesaurus if you are looking for a fine definition of a particular action or transitive verb. It was well worth it.
   Insightful and Revealing Technique
The proposed approach offers a valuable way of looking at one's script. The breakdown, while not always obvious, is very insightful and useful in helping the actor to navigate the intricacies of texts that are not always straightforward. I feel that too much breakdown can be counterproductive and say times tedious. Props on having an app to help with this... An Android version would be most welcomed.
There are instructions on how to use the book.
