   Greedy & Cowardly ANC leaders
As a South African of European descent, I was never surprised by the greed, dishonesty and stupidity of the ANC leaders, that they had a naive idiot who was willing to accept their ANC jobs, just prove how wrong they were, even if they were to keep their jobs. Alec Irwin and Frene Ginwali showed, I was wrong, about their cowardice.
This book confirms what most South Africans have believed for many years, well written and most informative. The ruling party should make this a must read ''.
the author did not stick around...
Interesting book about government, the people who started it, and sometimes for their own agenda. It is now sad and not enough to deal with current problems in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Communism and various governments that rip something that was at least functioning can help, but can also hurt. A book by Harvard, The Black Book of Communism, says that 100 million people have been killed in this way in the 21st century. Anyway, I was surprised that it was not more of a real African movement, which is what I thought. To me, the people who were around before, like some of the white farmers, seem to care about the land and the country online.
Come back and fight the good fight
This book shows how politics is the new business and how devoid of ethics the ruling fools are. Come back and do something nice!
I love Lisa's books... I read them all and loved them all on a different level. However, I am sorry to say that I am struggling to finish this one... I am beyond caring how it ends. I find the whole story boring beyond words and every time I read a piece of it I think to myself well, there are 30 minutes of my life I will never get back '', sorry Lisa.
   what a roller coaster ride
Ralph's Party '' was my favorite book of the year I read it absolutely. I have been waiting for this follow-up for quite some time and Lisa Jewell did not disappoint. It is a little darker, a lot deeper, not as much fun as Ra's Party, but nevertheless it is an extraordinary book about love and life, changes that come with the years and new starts. Here I don 't want to include spoilers, but I will say that this novel entailed me for an emotional roller coaster ride! I found myself slapping both Jem and Ralph, then crying for each of them. In my opinion, this book is a must-read for anyone who loved Raulph's party '' as much as I.
   Another winner from Lisa Jewell
I read all Lisa Jewell's books and I have never been disappointed. I love writing for some reason. I think it could be classified as real life, but to me her writing is more than most of these books. Sometimes you just click with an author and sometimes you clicked with her.
   A struggle to read
I have now read at least 10 Lisa Jewel books in a row. I finish one late at night and then order another immediately. Sadly, I have to say that this falls flat. The storyline had me bored and the worst part is that I did not really like or care about either the main characters. If you're a Lisa Jewel fan, you might be disappointed with this.
   Great Book
Written with Love, Well Written! The characters were real and the storyline was intriguing. I read more by Ms. Ruby is a jeweler.
   Liked it
Not a heavy read for summer. Won't keep you on the edge of your seat, so good to read when you're bored or keep in the car. Entertaining enough :
