I realize it is summarizing the actual story but the points and illustrations chosen seem to focus on the bad guy. Not a deal br

My daughter loves the story of Aladdin... it's weird because this book focuses a lot on Jafar who kind of scares her. I realize it is summarizing the actual story, but the points and illustrations chosen seem to focus on the bad guy. Not a deal breaker, just not the route I'd have taken, Mr. Rule told the judge.

It's great to have Little Golden Books back in the classroom. She had recently watched the Disney film Aladdin, so I had to get this for her. This book follows the story a little better than some other Aladdin books, though nothing compares to the actual movie. It's just that price, right? Very good book, highly recommend.

Good Translation of the

Many movie adaptations of children's books by little Golden are not great. Or they may have left out too many important elements, or they summarize things so quickly that they don't really make sense. This book was an exception to that rule as it covered the story fairly well and translated well to the book format. My kids absolutely love Aladdin and they had a blast making this movie.

One of my favorite movies as a kid and now to share the book with my kids is awesome. It stays true to the movie and I can hear all the characters voices and picture each scene as if I were reading it to my kids.

I recently came across the book while looking for Disney books and have purchased a few of them. I have been impressed with how accurate the summaries are in comparison to the movies. My almost 2 year old has only seen bits and pieces of the movie and yet she LOVES it and asks to read it almost every time. As a parent, I am very happy with the books. It is much more fun for me to read a story like this than some other toddler books at bedtime, and these are the perfect length for a 2-3 year old. The book was purchased for $4 and I'm not even a book snob. What a great deal for a book we will read over and over again, he said. If you are unsure, I would definitely hesitate to purchase at a time when this is on sale.

A Solid Abridged Story Book

A great little book, said Elizabeth Gilbert, co-founder of AOL. Now the kids can enjoy the "Read with Disney" feature which my kids loved right up until they ripped it to shreds. By, I mean, the price, I was able to even feel okay about that.
