He was rich. Last Sunday.

   EXCELLENT for elementary-aged children
This story is LOVE, LOVE, and ARTISTIC! Story line : Great graphics, and great lessons! My 7 and 8 year olds were both mesmerized and took the story line really. One to read and re-read more and more to remind ourselves what really means good stewardship.

Great story, electronic version could be better
The story is beautiful! When I read it to the class, the students can not see the pictures, and the illustrations really add to the story.

good book for children learning about money
The kindle version I bought makes me disappointed. I am unable to increase the sim.

   Disappointingly slow
It is a new brand and will be a great addition to my library. My only complaint is that it took me a lot longer to receive the product than I expected. I bought it to use during a lesson I was teaching and it didn't arrive until a week after I had already taught it. When I contacted the seller, they were quick in responding that it had sold out and would ship as soon as possible.

   kinda cute
For those under 10, great for kids. My kids think it's funny and keep telling me, I never do that. Aww, right.

Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday - don't like any in the series
The non-colored pages make it too boring and uninteresting. Kids like to stay interested color pages. I read the first book in the series, skimmed through the second book and I couldn t even bring myself to read this. They drug the story for too long and elaborated too much for each little point - they could have gotten to the point with half a dozen less pages. Overall, I think there are a lot of other books out there that are much better for children.

   Outdated
I read the book about the very bad day to my 5-year-old granddaughters and loved them, so I bought this one. Unfortunately, the situations are very outdated and I had to keep explaining what is going on. Of course, they did not know what a phone booth was or many of the other examples of spending money and receiving not much in return. Don 't know if children's books are ever rewritten or updated to current times, but if a book is trying to teach a lesson, the examples must be relatable. I am a retired English teacher and I had to teach a lot of history along with literature to make it understandable. This book is for much younger children, so that teaching history for them got a little boring.
