Perfect for my student's grand daughter, who is just into algebra. Also has many pages in the back of the book with additional practice with answers. I suggest purchasing one before they are gone from the market place because schools are moving away from text books like these -- a shame because they are an invaluable teaching aid.

The book is written well, but not enough examples to cover the more difficult materials. It would also be helpful if all math books gave all the correct answers to check how problems are solved.

   Glencoe Algebra 2
This is a wonderful algebra book, presented in a way that someone interested in algebra can work out the problems himself. Real-world applications are also very helpful. We have used the Glencoe series for homeschooling and are very satisfied with the way the lessons are presented and the examples given.

   Excellent Algebra II Text
Since 1989, I have taught mathematics and tutored math, and this is one of the best algebra ii books out there. Clear examples, lots of practice problems, presents a solid Algebra 2 curriculum and has very few-if any mishaps.

I would definitely recommend this textbook.
I bought this books to supplement my high school text in Nairobi with my nephew's high school. I am an engineer and wish I had used this book when I was first introduced to algebra. I would certainly recommend it.
