   More National Park Books Please!
Okay, okay. We got this book in the mail 10 minutes ago and I've already read it to my son six times. He doesn't like sitting still for stories and this one has him wanting more. He loves it because of all the animals. I like it because it promotes outdoor adventure and National Parks, and my dad and I did meet while working in the park. This is going in our favorite pile.

It never ceases to amaze me the creative variety of books available
A cute book for a toddler. We are giving to our grandson who will be visiting some national parks next summer. The words and pictures on the page are age appropriate. This one is a great addition to his collection, and it never ceases to impress me the variety of books available.

Pretty book, may not be appropriate for youngest toddlers
Our 2.5 year old son loves to read. He loves trains and is interested in nature and science. I thought this would be a good book to add to his bookshelf. There are a few words on each page that describe the park. It was light on content, but my son doesn't know much about national parks, so the names of the parks didn't mean much. The train was just going through the parks and not my son's favorite.

   Alright book
The theme of the train is loose. The train cars have labels, but they forget to add the designs on them. It's difficult to read because you don't know what they mean. I would like to see more facts or full sentences on each page. I like the style of the art, but they could have done more to make it better.

   Pretty not wordy
I am not sure why people think the book is too small, it is a normal sized book. It should have more words to it. The pictures, names of the parks and maybe one other word on each page is what it has.

   The book is damaged
I love this book, but it was sent along with another book and a box of teethers in an envelope. All three items had damage. The National Park book is near the teether box. The corner has been damaged. I need to return the gifts I received from Amazon. I'm afraid that they will be damaged if I order them again.

   Very disappointing
It was very disappointing. The story is not interesting at all. The book is much smaller than online. Some reviews had stated that the train was misleading. I wish I had believed the more positive reviews. I trusted the idea of a National Parks book for young children. The book is sturdy and might be interesting to young toddlers.

not really a story, more of a picture book
There is no story in this book. I was expecting it to be a book with post-cards from the locations, but that's not what it is. My twins love looking through the book and the pictures are pretty. That's all there really is. Looking at the pictures.

I ordered this for a coworker's baby shower because I wish I had discovered the National Parks when I was younger. I was so happy with the illustrations that I took a peak at it before giving it to her. It's cool to be able to get kids interested in getting outside.
