An Instant Favorite

One of our favorites is a children's book. Every child in our life has been gifted a copy and I am always ordering additional copies for new friends and adult friends who may need a little encouragement and extra love from time to time. The illustrations in this book are gorgeous and I love looking through the pages and seeing the message of the book. My 5 year old has memorised this book for a long time. This is an excellent choice if you want a fun and linguistically clever way to convey the message of one-ness.

Word Salad
Derived From Web , Aug 16, 2020
It has a nice rhythm to the text, but a lot of it is just random words strung together. It isn't written in sentences for most of the time, and it's hard to pick out the words in the illustrations. I think it's too abstract for a baby and maybe for me too. Ha! The pictures are nice.

a philosophical child book

I get to like this book more and more the more I read it. The words are touching. It talks about individual's life, family and society. It also talks about how contrasting things exist at the same time. It helps us to think from different perspectives. Some buildings show up more than once on different pages in the illustrations. The painting style is relaxing. Highly recommend it.

This is a favorite. I like to give it as a gift because it's less likely to be given to someone else.

A must have! Perfect for an 'In Lieu of card" gift.

I have read this book to my son every day for a year. I love this book so much. I could say the whole thing. The message and drawings are peaceful and calming for a baby. It's a great read before you sleep or wake up. My husband goes if our LO can't calm down before bed. I choose this one whenever a baby shower asks for a book instead of a card. It's perfect for boys or girls.

Different Board Book

This seems to be too grown up for a board book. My 21 month old twin grand babies enjoy it and often pick it to be read.
