   A book to appreciate.
While it is not like the classic books by Amelia Bedelia, I quite liked it. I hope the little ones do too. I will certainly expect them. I particularly like how Amelia Bedelia takes her elderly neighbor to her cherished. Our children are so separated from their grandparents, and it is important at least to see good examples in literature.

   cute book
My daughter is not interested in it, however, and is 8... maybe it was too young for her, as it is a Level 1 reader.

copy is faded, binding is great
We ordered this to replace a library copy, to which my 2-year-old added her artistic flair. The binding is fantastic, but compared to the original loanee from the library, the colors and print look faded and grainy. Not sure what the reason for this is, but it was confusing to pay so much for a book and get what I would consider a slightly substandard copy.

   Amelia Bedelia Makes a Friend
Easy reading for a six-year-old and they love silly ryming names like Amelia Bedelia and know how to make new friends.

Amelia Bedelia is a must read by little ones
Amelia Bedelia was always a favorite character of my daughters and when I saw it again, I knew that I had to order it for my granddaughter. It arrived in excellent shape and was on time. We are extremely happy.

good for kids just starting to read
Really like the Level 1 books, very helpful for my kids who are just learning to read. The sentences are short and make for a less frustrating experience, so much better for confidence and repetition.

   Amelia Bedelia Makes a Friend
My grand daughters love Amelia Bedelia's books. I like Scholastic books as you know the level of the book to buy for your reader.

   A Good 1st Reader
My granddaughter is in kindergarten and enjoys reading some of the books I can read series. She liked this story, but did not seem as cute as when she read A very enthusiastic story. My granddaughter is a kindergartener and enjoyed the story.
