early rescuer of human trafficking

I did not know much about Amy Carmichael at all. I went to order If and saw this one and it intrigued me as well. She did something to ease human suffering, particularly with children who were forced to be temple prostitutes by their parents! Her trust in her Lord is so vibriant. It's an easy read, so that you can do it in a day.

My daughter needs to write a Christian biography for a book report. I never knew much about Amy Carmichael and her missionary trips, so this was an informational story. For sure, we read more of these books in our house.

I purchased this digitally. My daughter was reading it for school and then did a book report on it. My son broke my Kindle, however, before this could happen. Since she was around 14-12 through the book, I decided to buy the paperback version. It came very quickly and didn 't cost quite as much. I'm happy with my purchase.

Amy Carmichael's life story can encourage anyone who was ever told, you don 't qualify '', but was rejected for a variety of reasons by missions - agencies, but she went on. God used her to rescue countless children from temple sacrifice, all because she refused to be told no '' highly recommended.

This is such a good story of a lady who loved the Lord with all her heart. She thereby loved the ones Jesus had died to save. These are the ones that God has sent to reach for Him. She was a great faith woman, greatly used by God. She learned very young to rely on the Lord alone, and all Christians should take time to read this inspiring story.

What an amazing story of what God can do through a person when they say Yes '' to Him. There were many parts that brought me to tears and even some miraculous stories of escape that sound just like the Book of Acts. Amy, thank you for being an inspiration and for a life well lived for the Savior. This woman poured her life wholeheartedly for others.

I'm in 4th grade and read a lot of these books. They are very interesting and once I start reading, I can not put it down! Theodore Amy Carmichael was a very wonderful woman. She founded The Starry Cluster, a group of women who spread the gospel in India. This book was one of my favorite books in the current series. This gives me 5 ***** stars!
