Ravens

Wow, a novel. It's a while different about the fair folk. They have nothing and can do nothing. It was unique and the romance was great.

Liked the Author's Follow Up book Better

Interesting playing with lore. I liked the reveal of who the spring king was. The book seemed to go on a bit longer than I thought it would.

Don’t compare this to ACOTAR
Derived From Web , Oct 22, 2020
I picked this up because it was targeting fans of the opera. That was the disappointment, I think. It was similar enough to leave me comparing it to a good product. I enjoyed this book. The fair folk had less appealing true forms and the seasonal courts had control over certain features. It ended abruptly. It was not a bad read.

Such a cute book!

It is a cute book with a sweet romance. I wanted more from this world after it ended. I hope that the author considers part two eventually.

Amazing

I don't usually give five stars to fantasy books, but I devoured this one and couldn't change it. The characters were so complex that I thought they were real. This young author has a remarkable career ahead of him. I intend to support her on her journey and buy anything she writes.

Beautiful Cover
Derived From Web , Aug 5, 2018
The cover design was beautiful and that was what made me want to read An Enchantment of Ravens. The book was finished after 2 months. The beginning storyline moved quickly but I soon lost interest. The pace was able to quicken towards the end. It was possible that I could not follow the middle. Do not read this book before reading Sarah Maas' series. I think that may have contributed to my lack of engagement. The cover and start of the story were great.

Great.
Derived From Web , Apr 10, 2018
I fell in love with the cover. The book had some parts that were not good, but the world building was interesting and the characters were entertaining. It was just one bok and didn't drag the story or romance out. It was done at the end. It was a great stand alone novel. I hope this author continues to write.

A fairy tale with a difference
Derived From Web , Jan 5, 2018
The young woman is determined to survive and defend. This is a love story that is quite different. She overcame obstacles, that were the real motivators of the story. I enjoyed many aspects of this book.
