A great edge of your seat thriller
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
Dan Brown, as always, does not fail to entertain and keep the reader on the edge of their seat. Although it was first written by Angels and Demons, it was just as exciting as the Code Da Vinci. I read this on my Kindle and was surprised by the number of chapters 137 and page numbers not synchronized with the paper issue. But, nevermind the length, it was a page holder and the short chapters made it go quickly. I read this while on vacation and it was a great way to get a 4 - hour plane ride quickly. It's been a while since I seen the movie, but I think the movie script did not follow the book as closely as the Da Vinci Code did, and there were some minor differences between characters, but the overall plot was the same. If you are looking for an emotional book that makes you thinks, provides factual information that maybe you did not know and keeps you involved and entertained, then this is the book for you.

Nothing will be up to The DaVinci Code
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
His first novel, The DaVinci Code, was pure genius, as it was on such a delicate subject for all christians. Like all the current best sellers, it was the draft for a screenplay that did not turn out a tenth as good as the book. Here, however, brown pushes too hard, not only saving the entire Catholic Church in 24 hours, but also doing it with a gorgeous, incredibly talented physicist chic. Dan, come on, there is enough.

A thriller!!!
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
I have been looking for a good thriller book, a fast pace and an intelligent book to read. I was skeptical when my friend recommended this book and said that the Vatican was part of the plot and I thought another anti-Christian book!! But it is far from that and it was a really good book. Once I am in the middle, I could not put that book down. While the research is fantastic, I think the book retains his fictional characteristic. I did not go crazy and believe that like other reviewers this is a real and actual event. But it does make you wonder and ask questions. This book was good and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a refreshing reading!

Great book from Dan Brown and so much more complete than the movie.
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
I really like Dan Brown's books ; he keeps his chapters short and concise, making for an easy enjoyable read. His story line lines with the twists and the historical tie-ins he uses to keep the books interesting and thought provoking. If I had a complaint, it seems that his books always use the same formula of characters and a similar storyline, but at a different time and place. I am glad I read the book, because there is so much more to the book than in the film.

Brown does it again.
Derived From Web , May 20, 2022
I love this audiobook ''. I found that listening to this and other books by Brown are entertaining and informative. Robert Langdon's character is again confronted with a problem that could affect the entire world. While this book is fast paced, Brown goes into great detail to describe the places in the book.

Re-read this after nearly 10 years and still love it
Derived From Web , Jul 19, 2020
As the title says, I picked it up again and still love it after nearly 10 years. The strong history references make it even with the mix of modern controversial technology like X-33 aircraft and particulate anti-matter credible. I had forgotten completely about the plot and remembered only a few chapters before the end. Once again, great reading!

Book is too lengthy, part of ending is not believable
Derived From Web , Oct 23, 2019
I have to agree with other reviewers who have said that the book is far too long. Dan Brown's books are mostly packed with historical information about Christianity and Catholicism, which is interesting, but only to a point for those of us who are not interested in the subject. I remember reading the Code of Da Vinci years ago and enjoying it immensely. I believe that book, which came before the da Vinci Code was particularly successful until after the Da Vinci Code was a hit and then people made it a best seller. Anyone who reads a fictional novel and gets near the end and then hears a voice in their head saying, h geez, let this thing be over just hear that same voice here. Spoiler Alert : I found the ending to be less than satisfying, because the location of the hidden antimatter bomb would have been searched, I believe. It did not seem credible or believable.
