   Love this book!
When I was a little girl, I love giving it as a gift to the parents. The Golden Books are classics, and I recommend them to anyone and everyone. It arrived in good condition, I actually purchased this book several times to give it in place of a card. I know it is for a slightly older child, but it is something they can read in the future and parents can read to them whenever they grow up. I highly recommend this particular book, as I have yet to meet a child who hasn 't giggled with delight while reading this book. *Note voices, even bad ones, make the book completely. )

Just like the original, but smaller
This was the first book that my husband bought for our son. We needed to replace it and choose this board book version. It is a great size for a 2 year old who knows the book and is one of his favorites.

   My daughters favorite!
My 29-year-old daughter loved so much my book! It may have also been the funny way I read it, but it may have been the funniest way I've read it! I get it for every baby shower I go to, and I get it for every baby shower I get. Especially for when they ask for books instead of cards! ! !

   A classic!
There is a monster at the end of this book, and has been around for a long time! When they were young students, it was a favorite of mine. It was read to them by their father, who loves to put emotion into children's readings. The current purchase is for the upcoming grandchild.

   No go
Damaged arrived damaged. The front cover was peeling and some inner pages were stained and stuck together. Obviously, I got someone else's returned item. The story itself was weird, too. My fan was not a fan, nor was my kid's. At least it was 99 cents, but it was only 99 cents.

A Craft Manual to Writing Stone-Cold Suspense
A relatable, sympathetic, less-reliable central character than-reliable. From the very first page, a high-stakes battle began with physical or even psychological death. Lots of emotionally compelling twists and reversals. An incremental sense of creeping dread. And finally, a shocking reveal : THE MONSTER AT THE END OF THIS book is a pitch-perfect guide to writing watertight suspense and should be used in literary seminars and even MFA workshops as a way to remind writers to follow the maxim of craft guru James Scott Bell's, to infuse every passage and every page with pleasurable uncertainty, and not to throw overboard any prose that does not advance the plot or develop character. THE MONSTER AT THE a shocking a shocking :

Kids love it and love Grover!
This is a cute book! It is witty and so much like Grover! I feel it is different from other books because it engages in a different way than board books with opening flaps and pulling pages. This isn 't just for Halloween. It may very well be our new favorite book at bedtime!

   Don't just read it
When I was a child, this was one of my favorite books, so when I saw a deal on the hardcover copy, I picked up a few copies. I figured the one I had when I was younger was just a paperback, but the harder cardboard cover will keep it protected until my children are old enough to have their own children. I think the story is fun and who doesn 't love Grover, but to really allow the book to live up to its full potential, you have to take a little time and work on your delivery. Don 't read the book just and get it read to your kids. Take a little time ahead and go through it so that you know how to make it more fun. If you do, it will make the experience both for you and the children much better. Enjoy!

Board book bigger size - perfect size now
This book is amazing and reminds me my childhood memories. I'm so happy that I was able to find it again for my daughters. Many previous reviews mention the small size of the board book. I bought it anyway, but the book must have been revamped because I received it and is a great size, much larger than my hand. It is about 8x6, the perfect size to read before bedtime. Happy reading! Happy reading! ''

Could Be The Perfect Kid's Book
As a child myself decades ago, now reading to my children and nieces, every child dreads being the first time in the book, then wants to read it again and again. It was fun, short and very clever. Timeless is not a factor.
