laughed oh so hard...bought the book
Derived From Web , Apr 22, 2022
my children checked this book out at the local library -- thinking of dear old mom who LOVED donuts --when i was reading it to them the humor was apparent, but the irony of the direction the story was taking did not hit me until the moment that Arnie realizes his purpose in life. i was so hard that i was afraid to turn the page because i knew what was going to happen to him, but my children were so tickled, fits of laughter broke out and we weren't even 13 through the book. i brought the book to my corporate america job the next day to share a good laugh with co-workers. His body was the new hero. Thanks for the great read, and a very well needed DEEP laugh!

Kids Krazy about Keller
Derived From Web , Apr 22, 2022
As soon as one is brought back, it is out by another student to be enjoyed. He takes subjects and concepts and makes them fun to learn. No wonder kids learn without teachers. Even though Arnie the Donut's subject of problem solving is a bit more abstract than learning the location, and names, of the fifty states, the students kept in touch with their professors. Kids get a kick out of Keller's very original approach, and goofy take, something that most of us never even give a second thought to eating a delicious donut. To add to the fun, we are treated to Keller's bold and slightly child-like illustrations. Even the most jaded observer would have enjoyed the show's many gags, including this: "There's just too many kids who don't get it." It's just that good, fun, and reading, at it's best.

So glad I found this
Derived From Web , Apr 22, 2022
Thanks for the tip. My son, who has devoured all of Laurie Keller's books, asked for this one for Christmas. The whole thing is a cute story. It's great to have your order delivered to your door, said Dr. Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tesco's chief executive. Thanks for the donation.

Cute graphics, not a great book for kids
Derived From Web , Feb 18, 2021
This book is not what I had hoped for, Gillian said. It's been a few weeks since I read through it, but I remember thinking I just wouldn't want my kid to read this. Graphics are great, but the story just wasn't a good match from a storyline or difficulty perspective.

Good Book.... most kids love
Derived From Web , Dec 16, 2020
The book is very good. It's great for the whole family." It's great to be back home, said Blair, "and we still have a lot to do." If I could change anything about the book, it would be that. The product came in one day which was great. We originally heard of Mr. Arnie because his 1st grade teacher read it to the class. The kids loved it, so we purchased it for the kids.

Kinda cute- kinda long.
Derived From Web , Sep 24, 2020
It was a tad too cute, at least for the time being. Extra word bubbles make reading it seem longer.
