I would not be without this book and I know many others in the crochet community who feel the same way. There is a border style for every person and project, and, as mentioned, the corners are addressed. Yes, there are no names for the 150 patterns, only numbers, but I cannot imagine trying to come up with meaningful names for them. There is no picture index, nor is there a librarian. But I enjoy perusing the pages to find something that works for me and mentally or physically bookmarking others to try so it hasn't been a problem.

I wish it had been wire bound like the crochet motifs book was so you can prop ...
Derived From Web , May 4, 2022
This book is well made with bright pictures and clear instructions, said Dr. Richard. Goldfarb. It would have been so much easier to fold the book if you could prop it up on itself, but it's the perfect size to throw in my craft bag with my projects. I didn't read the dimensions for the book and was surprised it was half the height of a regular pattern book. It's great to see that they were smart enough to do it this way, Libowitz said. Each pattern has a border running across the top and sides of the page so you could set your project right on the page to pick the perfect border. There are 150 different border patterns, but I don't see that any of them will really repeat like some other pattern books do. Although he or she is partial to fall colors, there are enough variations to get inspiration from. It looks like they might come out with a wire version, too, so I might buy that one.

Excellent

The borders are easy to understand, but complicated by design. Each pattern is spelled out in a chart, and the buyer is given instructions on how to properly display the finished product. With my kindle, the chart could not be enlarged so some might be hard to see. The patterns are quite pretty, too. There are lots of good resources out there, so you can use them all. The book is very well written and I recommend it to anyone.

Wow!!!

Infamous for its "WoW" catchphrase, Activision touts more than 3 million copies of the game. Lots of different borders to choose from. For example, I use symbols to crochet for the triangles which is easier to follow as you can see the placement of each stitch. I've been crocheting for 48 years and there are borders I've never seen before. I will be using a fancy pattern for two baby afghans I'm making for my newborn twin great granddaughters. One of my all time favourite books.

So Useful!
Derived From Web , May 4, 2022
I've read all the books, but this is by far the best. Since it arrived, I have used it on several projects, including a 3D printer. I love how the book lays flat when I set it out to follow a design, and that almost all designs are complete on the right and left side pages, so there is no turning of the pages while I am working, she said. I think this book will encourage me to be more creative and to add some really nice borders to my work, Bustamante said. The best thing about it is that it is a nice size for toting along to my crochet group, or just to a waiting room for an appointment, she said.

Eckman hits it again with this book. Clear diagrams, photos of the finished product and written directions appeal to ANY crocheter's visual preference for reading a pattern. I highly recommend this author to anyone.

Awesome border patterns

So excited to try new projects using these border patterns, says Bitty. Great variety of patterns, some pretty, some plain and everything in between, he said. Pick it up, you won't regret it!
Derived From Web , Feb 17, 2018
The book is also available on Amazon's Kindle. There are a great variety of bordersedgings in this book, along with really helpful information, making this book a great resource for beginners and experienced crocheters alike. I really like the charts, and this book includes both charts for in-the-round and back and forth versions of the edgings. There are also written patterns for each border. I prefer the charts because there is no ambiguity, Raymond said. Traditional navigation is in the front, and typical information is in the back with the borders in between. I've never seen a borderedgings pattern book like this. The instructions are clear and concise, Wolf said.
