   Yay!
Book is great, small book! I started it as soon as I heard it, as I have taken some of Lisa's online classes and is always very inspiring. This book continues in the superuser-friendly vein of CraftBlogCreative, Inc. It seems to be the most aimed at artists who are new to monetizing their work but have the white art component down My only criticism has nothing to do with the author - the actual text-on-orange pages are really hard on the eyes. A dark background color would probably be easier to read. Lucky, that is a relatively small part of the book.

You are better off following artists via facebook
This book scratches the surface barely. The information contained can be found easily with a few key search terms on the Internet for free. You are better off following artists via Facebook, Instagram, blogs etc. and do what they do just. I find the phenomenon interesting in Lisa Congdon ''. Her art is regurgitations of the likes of Matisse, Mary Blair, etc. She lucked out somehow and was able to create a profitable business for herself. Don 't expect her to actually divulge how she did this in her book. Two books I found helpful are Art Marketing 101 and Art Licensing 101.

   Great Value!
This book is my favorite! It offers all the insight you would get in an in depth much more expensive e-course.

Provides good tips and suggestions for every artist to sell their ...
Although some of the sites mentioned in the book are for the USA, we can still work it out in other countries. If you are an artist, a good book to have is.

Excellent 'go to' book for artists
I thought that this book was full of great information for the artist. Not everything I could relate to my type of art medium, but I could relate most of the time in the book to most. I read this on my iPad and loved the feature where you could click on the artist's websites to see what they were about before you read the interview. For me it literally came to life. This will be my new book for whatever comes my way in my artistic life. Lisa Congdon was well done.

   Inspiring and great advice
If you love Lisa Congdon, you 'll need Art Inc. If you don 't know Lisa Congdon or you don 't know who is Lisa Congdon, then you must wake up as an amazing artist and inspiring human. Full of great advice, given from the perspective of some of the most sought after designers and artists of today, who actually walked the walk. From start to finish, Art Inc is a great resource for anyone out there who lives creatively.

   Great for beginners but...
I heard great reviews, but was disappointed to see 19 interviewed artists, not one of them a person of color.

How to build your art career?
You would get more specific advice from a customer support representative on etsy. The true path to an art career is writing a slim book full of breezy advice on building your art career. May takeaways are 1) get a website, and 2) don 't forget to charge a sales tax on all the work I sell. Did I mention that I want my ten dollars back?

   Practical Gem
This slim book is a gem besides the small font. It is filled with practical info easily accessed as needed. The many profiles prove that art is a viable career choice and that so called artsy free spirits put as much hard work and discipline into their lives, as do those people who succeed in other careers. The world's artists keep making art!

I have never seen a more poorly designed book
Never seen a more poorly designed book ''. Instead of the usual 11 or 12 pt type of the standard text, it is 8 pt and gray against white. I'm a graphic designer who works all the time with type. Many of the inner pages are an orange bleed with a tiny white type dropped out that you can see barely. The layout looks great, but is not functional at all. The designer knows obviously nothing about book design or how to design for print. Chronicle books are usually of high quality, but bombed with this one.
