Missing a ton

Amazon doesn't care what the specific pricing or GB limits are for things, it will do what it wants. The company wants you to know what their 150 services are. The book covers the main ones in painful detail, but the actual test wants you to know far more than what's presented in the book. Only a fraction of the 3,013 pages are presented in the book, and half are stuck in Appendix B.

Good Start
Derived From Web , Feb 10, 2021
I was looking for a book that would guide me through the entire exam. This book is perfect for anyone who reads it. This book is good enough to understand the logical reasoning, can get you the certification, along with this I would recommend Udemy test papers and reading the AWS whitelist services.

Huge waste of time and money.
Derived From Web , Jan 4, 2021
The difficulty with getting access to the accompanying digital materials was also a problem. The quizzes at the end of each chapter had me worried I would need to have memorized the exact URL for each AWS service, and the algorithm for calculating the exact cost of enterprise support on an $8M monthly AWS bill. I wasted tens of hours memorizing useless information before finally taking practice tests through Udemy and aCloudGuru, realizing this book was terribly misleading. If I had crammed that test with one of the other online courses, I would have failed. Use Udemy, aCloudGuru, LinuxAcademy, or one of the dozens of other resources available.

Very informative. Suffers due to hard copy format
Derived From Web , Feb 23, 2020
Great book, especially for new to AWS readers. However, I have found that the AWS console changes quickly and some of the exercise instructions are no longer actionable. This is to be expected, but still somewhat disappointing, said Paul LiCalsi. For those new to cloud computing in general this is a TON of information to digest and much of it will require additional context in order to make sense of it all. Thanks for the help. I will update when I take the exam.

Covers all the Main Exam Points

Using this as my primary study material, I was able to pass the test. Even if you have read the entire book, you still need to read the whitepapers and Amazon recommended material. But, if you still want to use EchoStar, you must check the Amazon Documentation.

There are typos
Derived From Web , Jul 21, 2019
It's a book that seems to have been written in a hurry, Hughes said. Also, there are inaccuracies when the author tells you to do something on the screen. The book does not match up with the instructions of the author. The author of the Cost and Usage report says it is available from the link on the Billing Reports Dashboard. There is no link to this report. The Web site also offers a free trial of its billing software, Billing Dashboard. This is just one example of how Microsoft can leverage customer data to make products. But there are more areas where the book needs improvement, he said. I'll give it two stars for now, but if I pass the test, I'll think about giving it a four star rating. I also tried to reach the author of the book. I still haven't received a response.

Fairly Light in Content but Sufficient
Derived From Web , Jul 7, 2019
Ok, I got the printed edition and it looks like a book 456 pages, Mr. Rule told me. It includes footnotes to the original work, along with appendices and index. Not happy with that, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Will revise it based on content but not off to a good start, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Despite the slim stature of the book, the quality of the writing was spot on. Passed the exam using this and a cloud guru along with practice tests and the official AWS White Papers.
