Wonderful Story, Rugged Construction
Derived From Web , May 26, 2022
It is a sweet story and seemed perfectly appropriate to gift a soon-to-be mother with elephants as the theme for her son. The book itself appears to be made of reasonably high materials. The cardboard of the pages was strong, it feels like it will withstand years of baby and toddler drool and love.

Still a Treasure!
Derived From Web , May 26, 2022
My children loved Babar's books. I was not sure that the elephant family would appeal to my two-year-old granddaughter. She has a lot of books that just sit on the shelf and some that she wants us to read over and over again. Fortunately, one of the most popular books is this. I am really happy, as I also love this unusual elephant family.

For my grandchildren, I bought these and love them. The nightly readings include Babar and Madeline. A nice lesson is contained in every story and is presented in an entertaining way.

Toddler Grandson Loves this Book!
Derived From Web , Feb 12, 2022
A couple of months ago, I gave it to him. He is a firm favorite of his. He often asks to have it read. This book tells the story of King Albert, Queen Celeste and her children through the seasons of the year. The activities are simple watering flowers, sailing on a boat, ice cream tasting, going to school, etc.

The Strength of a Board Book, But Without The Charm Of The "Cannon" Stories
Derived From Web , Sep 2, 2021
This book works to bring the characters together but doesn't hold my attention for 10 months old. The art is drawn from various real Babar books, but the lyrics lacks the charm of real stories. It is fine... If I have my child a bit older, I 'll introduce Babar and Celeste properly!
