Quality Books with Cute Stories

My son loves the Lift-a-Flap books published by Cottage Door Press. I began reading them to him soon after he was born. At around 6-7 months, he started to lift the flaps himself. These were the first flap books he could lift because the flaps are thinner and shaped for easy grabbing by little hands. The aprons are also thick and sturdy to resist biting, spit and tearing. We read them so often, but still look new surprisingly. My son is now 11 months old, so that being able to play with the flaps actually keeps him engaged, so that I can read to him during this stage. Plus, the stories are adorable.
