Lovely illustrations

Beautiful illustrations accompanying a classic song. After receiving this book, Baby Beluga quickly became my favorite song, after receiving my son's favorite song. He’s almost 2 and exclaims Oooga, oooga when he wants us to read the book. He spends time looking at each page, pointing to the different animals and arctic landscape characteristics and we practice naming them. The pictures really bring the song to life and have a lot of details to talk about. Really enjoy this series of board books, illustrating Raffi songs, really enjoy this series of board books. Have 3 and will most likely be purchasing more.

Perfect for a child who loves the song

This is our favorite 11m olds song and has been since month 6 since then. She is just getting into being read and flipping pages herself, so that we got this for her first birthday. I’m sure she will love it if she is read to from it. It is the lyrics to the song, but with a nice illustration. Everyone is upset about the dolphin line not showing dolphins in the image, but I don 't think that discredits the cute book. There are other tools we can use to make sure our children know what dolphins look like haha. It is not like this book says, “This is a dolphin and then points to a turtle.†It is just the image behind the lyric.

If you don’t know the song, this book is not for you. Awkward wording.

I did not know that this was a song, so when I first began to read the book to my child, I was horrified at the strange and seemingly broken English. If you do not know the song, the phrasing and wording will feel extremely natural and wrong. Almost as if the book were translated from another language, the book also contains references to Heaven, so that I would consider purchasing this book as a book to read to your child, the illustrations were nice and the book quality was fine. Given what I mentioned above, we will not keep this in our rotation and donate the book.

I love Beluga and, especially, love the baby Raffi. This book was intended as a gift for a great grandson. Unfortunately, Mama informed me that it was taken in Mexico and not in the PRC, as displayed in the listing photo. Too many otherwise reputable companies have sold toys in China made of lead containing other toxins in their paint, dyes, inks, plastic etc. Not giving up a chance.

Our favorite board book

One of our favorite books! We love this song and I was thrilled to see they had a book. The illustrations are beautiful and vivid. My 1 year old loves flipping the pages of the board book and looking at the pictures while I sing to her. This board book is thick and seems like it will last a while longer. I would highly recommend this for all children! '' I would highly recommend it for all children!

I bought this book for my granddaughter, as her mother and I used to listen to Raffi in the car. Baby Beluga was the song we sang over and over, and when I saw that this book was available, I obviously had to buy it. When we sang the book to the baby and gave the song to the child, she LOVED IT. She now searches every day for this book so that her mom will sing it to her. She will find this book wherever it is - bookshelf, toy box, under the couch to hand it to her mom and start swaying back and forth. We will sing the book upside down and catch it with it, it is the favorite thing she owns and she reaches for it several times a day. I made the best toy I have ever given her!
