Ok book but....

They put a lot of effort into making them sound intelligent and completely lose the reader in poor writing skills. It is a very simple science, of which the author is very proud. But the writer takes all the fun and learning right out of it. Get your info elsewhere so that you don 't get discouraged.

A little short and filled with too many black and white historical photos. The writing needs a lot of work and flows very well just. Obviously it is not the easiest subject matter, but toss in big colored diagrams and a couple of pages of statistics and facts about metals, tools and techniques.
