This is the first of the Bad Kitty chapter books and is wonderful! Bad Kitty and Poor Puppy make a complete mess of the house and themselves and now it is time for the cat's bath. But how do you get a catfish as opposed as kitty in the bathtub? Not only is the mishap of trying to get the cat in the bath, but there are several sections of new facts about cats, explained by a new character named Uncle Murray. This book is a must read book.

The Bad Kitty '' series are great first chapter books. They look long and have 100 plus pages, but are very easily read by children who want to read chapter books, but are a little scared by chapter books with a lot of pages, but not a lot of pictures.

In this Bad Kitty book we are a little disappointed. It seems to be too long and too drawn with things that are not really funny, silly or connected much to the story. It breaks from the story with things my daughter is not really interested in what should be a funny story like other bad kitty books we have bought. Perhaps the author wanted to stick more teaching information on how things work or how to care for a kitten, but it was just not an out-of-the-cup of tea.
