   Great for the little Barbie lover!
In this book, Tawney loves her horse, Barbie, and takes good care of her. She wants to win a ribbon at the horse show and helps her horse to get over her fear of jumping and win a white ribbon. Great to read to littles or early readers, not too long, not too hard of words. Also has a lesson about how it takes work to care for pets and animals.

   I purchased this along with a barbie doll and horse ...
I bought it together with a Barbie doll and horse for Barbie, for my granddaughter who is 8 years old. I thought it was something she could read and learn about horse riding. This was, however, a Level 1 reading book and had nothing to do with the Barbie doll, although it was presented together when I purchased it with the doll and horse. I guess it was my fault that I made an assumption. Since then, I have donated the book to The Book.

   I love that there’s only a few words / simple words ...
My daughter loves Barbie and whenever she asks for any words or signs, she loves what it says, so I figured I would get her started on reading. I love that there are only a few simple words on the page. She is able to say and focus on each word. I give 4 stars only because I wish these weren 't so exspencive. I would like to buy a set ''.
