This was one of the books used to study for ...

The AFOQT used to study this book. It helped greatly. There were a lot of mistakes. The AFOQT's word of advice has changed so there are sections that will not be covered in this book.

Only one issue

The next book is incorrect because they forgot to add the actual fuselage and the description of what is correct with the fuselage silhouette. You will fail the test based on the two examples. I had to reference other books to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. It's good other than that.

Used for OAR

The guide helped with the mechanical, but the math section and reading need to be revised because I didn't get to study for many questions on the OAR. SWO passed with a 46. I am sure there are better guides out there, so I wouldn't recommend this one.

Complement with GRE Math and Reading Reviews
Derived From Web , Feb 28, 2017
GRE review books are used for math study and math test questions. Same with the reading. The book has a strong mechanical section. I haven't relied on this book much for the math section or the reading section. GRE reviews will be used for that. I'm an engineer and I have a strong hold on staticsmechanics. I bought the book for the practice tests and the information about planes and ships. You can complement the book with other books.

Doesn't have everything you need but it's a good start

It's a great source for studying and a good place to start since it covers multiple branches' flight aptitude tests, but it's slightly out of date and doesn't have any sections you need.
