Someone recommended this book to our sports minded son, who has been a reluctant reader... Such a great confidence building book for kids who are just beginning to read.

First reader
Derived From Web , Jun 7, 2021
This is a first reader's book. Unlike the soccer and baseball, this book is not silly. It focuses on the passing of the ball to remember. I am not sure how effective it was in delivering this message. Preferred to the soccer and baseball.

Not a Challenge for a Good, Young Reader
Derived From Web , Jan 15, 2020
I would not recommend this book for a child who is a good reader! It does not help with a simple readers - fluency in reading because the words are too strong. My grandson is seven, and he finished reading the book in ten minutes.

Basketball lesson

When he went to his next basketball practice, he encouraged his teammate to pass the ball to his other teammates, not the same person all the time. Plus, he was very successful in reading the book.

Great for beginning readers and wonderful stories
Derived From Web , Dec 27, 2019
I can 't say enough about these books. My kindergartener is learning just how to read. These are developmentalally appropriate for beginning readers and have great stories, often with entertaining lessons, simultaneously. SO much better than all the other 1 level of reading books out there!
