   less illustrations than some of the other chapter books in the DC Super Heroes series
The chapter book in the DC Super Heroes series had less illustrations than other books, but it was a chapter book. I wasn't sure if my special needs teen son would enjoy this one because he doesn't have illustrations to look at while I read, but he usually enjoys me reading these longer chapter books to him. The story line was so good that he stayed with it until the end and seemed to enjoy it. I admit that Super Heroes isn't one of my favorite things to read, but my son loves them and I enjoy reading them to him. Batman and his teen age kick side Robin are included in this one. At the end of the story, Batman gives a compliment to Robin. It is a great life lesson for children to understand what Robin did and why Batman does what he does. It was nicely written.

   Mad Hatter fun!
This was an introduction to the character for my son. We couldn't ask for more from him because he's a big movie fan.
