Great Series..to be read orally for beginner readers or read alone (silent) for older readers.
This excellent series is whole. I bought this book to complete the set of the grandkids. A must read for young readers. Grand children are under the age of nine, so the series was read to them, but the eldest grandchild could read most of the books. The problem was that they were so excited to know what happened in each book that I had to read to them faster so that the younger child could also enjoy reading. So much fun to read!

Great read-aloud for 4-5 year olds.
My 4 year old was tired of picture books, but was not ready for long chapter books without many pictures. This book series is PERFECT with 10-12 chapters, pictures on every single page and gripping stories. They're scary without being thrilling. He adores the whole series.

   Love the series.
This happened just in time. My son was finishing the book 12. We have read the entire series and it is such a great series. My son is 8 and will enter the 3rd grade thus school year 21-22, so I think it is perfect for this age group.

Great series for a new reader!
My 7 year old son loved this series and the final book, Battle of the Boss Monster, did not disappoint! It is sometimes difficult to find a good series for boys that is not written in a comic book style. This is a great, easy to read chapter book series.

Great fun! My son loves reading these.
My son is also older than the suggested age for these, but he still loves her and was excited to add another to his collection. This series has been fun and made my son read with pleasure. Writing and art are of the highest notch.

Must read for young reluctant readers.
I feel like it has been pretty hard to find reading level appropriate books for my son, about which he gets excited. When I found these notebooks of Doom books, I knew I had a winner! He now has all but one in his collection. We started reading these together when he was in 1st grade, but then started reading them more on his own entering 2nd grade and is now entering 3rd and has been reading them 100% on his own for some time now. He connects with the characters and LOVES all the silly situations they get into. I highly recommend '' these books.

Great for children who hate reading!
These branches are great for children. He is in the 4th grade this year and I began homeschooling him at the beginning of the year. Finding him to read was always such a battle. A former teacher, whom I met by chance, recommended me to read the branches books. We started with eerie Elementary and he couldn t put them down! It did this mama's heart good to see her baby actually interested and enjoying reading! His reading level has skyrocketed and was a gateway to him now picking out larger chapter books without pictures. His reading level alone went 3 levels up this school year. Can 't say enough good things about these books.
