   Disappointed! Misleading Cover!
It is a pleasant book to read, but it was simply not what I expected.

   Nice message, but was disappointed with kindle version
I would really give this 2.5 - stars... The content of the book is pretty straight-forward and is certainly appropriate for young children. A helpful reminder to small children to be more cautious. In my opinion, it read more like a pamphlet downloaded from a safety website than a children's book, but I appreciated the general message that the author was trying to convey. However, for $7.36, a lot more thoughtattention should have been paid to the ebook. The black version of this book is in kindle '' and WHITE ''. It does not have real page numbers, making reading it nearly impossible... the words do not line up with the pictures, when you zoom in, you often have an illustration on a page and a few words on another, etc.

   This book is great as an overall introduction to safety book
This book is great as an overall introduction to the book of safety. It talks about finding adults you trust to help in unsafe situations. I was hoping it was more about road safety and using pedestrian crossings as the cover implies. It talks, however, in many generalities about broad safety situations. It works as a great intro to a unit, but if you have to focus on a particular safety area, such as road safety or fire safety, this will probably not be your best option. It does, however, offer valuable information for the audience of Pre - K-1.

   I am a School Counselor and love this whole series of books
I am a teacher counselor and love this whole series of books! When I was looking for a book to cover safety for the kindergarten, this was by far the best I found. It covers everything to keep our little ones safe and introduce big ideas that can be followed at home. In the back of all these books are follow-up questions and activities that are great for parents and teachers.

   not about road safety
I thought that the book would talk about road safety with the picture on the front. There are no scenarios regarding road safety. There is a scenario about being careful in the kitchen, what to do when lost and what to do in an emergency. The book is probably better for a five-year-old or around that age.

These books are great for teaching social skills to young children and pre-kindergarten students. They are engaging and on each page have the perfect amount of words.
