Hardcover does not mean board book

This is a hardcover book, not a board book. We have almost all of these books in the board book format, and I was a little disappointed that this one didn 't match. It is HUGE in comparison, and the pages are paper. There was no option for a board book at the checkout, so I chose Hardcover, not realizing there was a difference. This was certainly my own fault, but I feel it is worth mentioning, especially if you are trying to match an existing set.

This is for our Thanksgiving holiday book collection for my 4 yr old girl. She looooves this book! The illustrations are soft and whimsical, and quite lovely. Not only is it their natural gifts, but their material gifts are just a beautiful message to all. Its message is delivered in a simple, lighthearted, easy to grasp way. It is february and we still read it often.
