Beautifully written and illustrated children's book about Bear and his friends

It was one of the first books I gave him. It quickly became my son's favorite book and you can use different voices for the various critters that visit Bear's den on a cold and blustery night. My son asked me to read it for years and I did. I've read all of the other books about Bear and his friends, and I'm still in love. Beautifully written and illustrated by first-time novelists Michael Green and Pauley Perrette. For many of my friends' children, I have purchased Bear Snores On for birthdays or Christmas. We are now reading it to our second child who absolutely adores this book. The other, a 7-year-old, still enjoys reading them.

Great Book Never Gets Old!

Our kids are 5, 3 12 and 2, and all of them enjoy the book. For the younger kids it's a great story to be interactive with, Mrs. Cowger said. When the bear snores we all make snoring sounds, when the friends freeze we all freeze.

Bought this book for my 4 year old son as a present from his mom. The Harry Potter series has become one of our favorite books. It's great when the bear gets woken up by a pepper flake and has a great sneeze. He also tells us that the whole family has got involved in making the bear sneeze. If you're thinking about buying a book, this is the one.

Great kid-centered book

I'm a sucker for witty, modern books, Raymond said. This isn't really that bad a deal, Mr. Rule told the judge. But when I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter, it grew and grew on both of us. She loved animals and the story of the children. The rhythmic, rhyming text seemed like it was appealing to her developing language skills, too. The nurse refused, saying she wanted it over and over again.

We put it down to a highly requested story in our house. The bear's sneeze is so good, we recommend it to all our friends. This book is absolutely adorable and fun to read to your kids. It's great to hear from Dr. Goin that people are still talking about it.

Favorite book - so much fun to read!

It's the only book we've ever read that we would recommend to our friends. It's great to have that one-to-one time with your kids, said Jennette, who has two daughters. There are tons of opportunities to do different voices, he said. This is the best of the Bear books and our overall favorite with Llama Llama Red Pajama, Baby Please, and I Like To Curl Up In A Ball.

This is such an amazing little book, said Frey. It's a true joy to see him smile at his favorite parts. Not too long, not too short, great illustrations, Raymond said. I highly recommend Dr. Goin's book. But if you have a kid that's afraid of missing out on things, there's a good little lesson..

It's not bad, but there are so many books out there. We try to limit what we have on our shelf to really great books, but this just seemed like so many already out there. We just couldn't get into it. Very repetitive book which is probably the point, but we already have a couple of repetitive books we love and don't need that many repetitive style books. We didn't keep it, but gave it to a friend at a baby shower instead of a card. It's great to see them back, said Blair. We're not going to renew it.
