Why is this Book so Thrilling?
Derived From Web , May 23, 2022
This book provides the same thrill as seeing a Rube Goldberg machine in action or seeing a million dominoes fall consecutively from the push of a tiny finger. The realization that each action builds something progressively larger for the satisfying conclusion. I wonder how many millions of children will hear this exhilerating story because a loving parent with a soft voice read it to their little kid a long, long time ago?

Super fun book and a favorite of my two-year-old. It is a really unanticipated way to introduce the concept of cute consequences.

Happy find!
Derived From Web , Apr 18, 2021
When he was a child, this was my favorite book of the son. I have saved it, but when our house was flooded in 2016, it was gone. I know that he is older and doesn 't read the book. I am buying it so that when he has a child, he can read it to them.

Under the seal of Doctor Seuss, Horrible writing is hidden. Won 't return, so that a less person has to read it.

Not Sure How Toddlers Perceive the Anger in this Book
Derived From Web , Jul 12, 2018
I don 't think I can keep this book. But, as two reviewers already said, almost everyone is angry or aggressive in the book. However, this angry behavior ends up in something that seems pretty fun. The underlining message is that if a bunch of beings get angry and kick each other out of fun, it all ends up in fun.

Disappointing
Derived From Web , Jun 7, 2018
Had high hopes because of all the positive reviews, but found myself very disappointed. The grammar was pretty hard to pass. In addition, the characters kicked objects when they were angry, which isn 't something I like to teach my 2.5 year old.

I was so happy to see that it is still in print and I was able to get a copy through Amazon. I am now reading it to my great-grandson. Donna's husband was born in New York City, USA.
