Ohhhh...the Lessons Learned

They were reading this in class and the kids were desperate to get me to read it, Ms. Pearson said. After reading the book, I understand and share their excitement and enthusiasm. He is a one-of-a-kind teacher who connects with each of his students and he is most concerned about helping them learn some of life's greatest lessons. His focus was never on testing, national standards or meeting district deadlines, but on helping each of his fifth graders become the best person they could be. A great read that is certain to generate some interesting discussions on some tough topics, he said. I would use this as a read aloud with my class. 0 1462228 14622 I would use this as a read aloud with my class. And, it would be the perfect gift for your favourite ten-year-old. I think it's great, said Blair.

Best Book Ever!!!!!

The book is a great read, too. Well, first of all, I am a boy going into the fifth grade and I think both boys and girls would enjoy it. The story follows the adventures of a group of friends as they overcome their problems with the help of Mr. Terupt. Because you get to understand the different kid's perspectives in each of their own chapters, I enjoyed reading it. I kept thinking about it and wondering what would happen next. There were some really funny parts and some really sad parts. Even if it was a kid, I think any reader, kid or adult, would love this book.

Excellent book

My child's teacher read this book to the class. I picked it up on my child's recommendation. This is well-written, appropriate for grades 3-6, and pretty captivating, too, said Mr. Dhaliwal. It held my attention as well. Also, be sure to read the follow-up novel by Rob Buyea, Mr. Terupt Falls Again.

Through this book, you will learn how to grow, analyze, and make decisions that are instrumental to your everyday relationships. He also said that although we are technically brothers, we are also “our brothers keeper†and “whatever we say or do affects each otherâ€. All are connected. Through the response, receptiveness, and perception of the students, we can see that the concept of Rights and Responsibilities we have to ourselves and each other, is the foundation of a more aware, peaceful and healthy national and international relationship.

Such a wonderful book

Each character was so beautifully composed that the reader became personally involved with them. Even as an adult reader, I was completely involved and entertained. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. Clearly, the author has a very good understanding of children and their feelings.

A marvelous story that enchants and teaches
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This book was a delightful read even for adults but is about children in 5th grade so would be perfect for that age group. Buyea builds a believable and lovable community of kids who are blessed with an extraordinary teacher, he said. His example helps a classroom of diverse personalities become a community in which children learn to communicate and see life differently, Bolten said. I highly recommend this book to almost any reader.

He also thanked his wife for the "gift of a lifetime." Thanks for the support. She has read this book from beginning to end and really enjoyed the sincerity and humor throughout it, and developed characters of students that grow through the wisdom of their teacher. We have since ordered the second book and look forward to reading it as well.

and--most especially--the admission that even the very best teachers aren't perfect
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I purchased this book as a present for my nephew, but couldn't resist reading it first. As a retired teacher, I adored the characterization, points of view, life lessons, and the admission that even the very best teachers aren't perfect.

A Teachers Magic
Derived From Web , Nov 13, 2020
Mr. Twrupt was a very average teacher. He didn't teach in average fashion the way most other teachers did. It's just that they don't have enough money." He had a very special quiet way about him, his family said. For one he listened a lot, and when he spoke, he talked to you as if you were on his level. He all came up with interesting approaches to subject research, he said. There was no wrong way to do it, Mr. T drew you in to them and there was no wrong way to do it. He gives the parameters and you did it your way. He was there for his kids and others. He was there to teach and coach, as well as help quiet kids with their personal problems. He said: "Every one of us has done it. A wonderfully written story of hardships kids face in school, and a bonding they had for a man, and a teacher, and a magic way he had with them. Debra is the star of the new NBC show "Smash."
