Good, but needs an errata sheet
A good book for beginners, but some recipe errors included with no errata paper. Specifically, the three recipes on page 120 titled butters are identical to each other and the same recipe for Emu Oil on page 122. The next edition of this book could be strengthened by adding two new sections : An introductory section on the best practices for harvesting and processing beeswax cappings, since the book is oriented towards beekeepers.

   Great gift
This was a present for a recent retiree who has it all. In the past, she has dabbled with making beeswax candles and products. When she opened the present for the first time, she gave the obligatory polite thank you. Then her eyes lit-up when she opens the book, flipping through the pages, I noticed that it traveled with her throughout the house during the holidays. The pictures are high quality, the instructions are easy to follow, and there is enough variety to attract anyone.

   Must have
If you are a candle maker, herbalist or just love bees, this is the MUST HAVE book. I have been working with beeswax for years, and this book blew my mind still. I really liked the batik - art. Absolutely amazing!

   Best Crafting Book This Year!
My daughter found this for Christams and is going to be a keepsake for me. I want to do every project in this book, so much so that I had to get one for my crafty friend. We have been looking for new fun crafts. From A-Z, this book has good instructions to get us started. The book is also of very nice quality with wonderful photos of projects and tools. I love it just and can 't wait to get started!

   Not worth the price
I wish I could get my money back. Here there is no real knowledge. This book is for people who don 't know how to use a search engine. You’ll learn more about 20 minutes of research on the web.

   What about tealights ?
I make my own candles, specifically tealights, but this book seems to ignore them. I also make lip balms and lotions, but find the recipes in the book to be too intensive. The art section is really geared towards a generalized audience, not a specialized craft hobbyist. It was a waste of time and money for me.
