Perfect

This was ideal for my fifth grader, who was embarrassed that he had never learned cursive. This gave him lots of practice and immediately had him linking letters to make words, which was important in making quick progress. He worked on this book over the summer and now that he is back in school, he feels very confident that he can write in cursive!

It's okay.

I would have liked this workbook better if they started with A and gave a whole page of practice for each letter. Then he went to practice linking letters. I teach my son cursive since his school isn 't. So far, I had to buy a notebook just to get him to use letters first. Then I use this after we make it through the alphabet.

Excellent teaching aid
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
Excellent for teaching cursive writing. Because the schools are lacking in teaching our children to write rather than print, does not mean that parents can't teach their children the simple task of signing their own name. This book is a positive teaching method, teaching how to teach.

Just ok

If the book ranged from A -- Z instead of random letters mixed in, it would have been a good book. I call it old fashion, but I prefer the old fashion way of learning.

BECAUSE!!!
Derived From Web , Dec 20, 2021
My 1st grade grandson showed interest in CURSIVE. And they don't teach is any longer in school. This is what we remember when we learned old ditto on those cursive sheets. These are printed on a type of paper newsprint, so not easy to erase, but plenty of room to practice.

Great book for cursive PRACTICE - not instructional
Derived From Web , Mar 8, 2021
I read the reviews and looked at some of the pictures so that I knew up front that this is literally just for cursive, and I wasn 't disappointed. This is NOT an instructional book. We loved the book Handwriting 2C by Zaner-Bloser, just wanted to give others a heads up that might not realize that. We teaches cursive handwriting 2C - it actually teaches cursive. There is a cursive amount of manuscript practice, then it goes into fair. There are visual instructions, then a video link that you can pull out of the book, laminate and add to a 3 ring binder, so my daughter is able to use dry erase and use these pages over and over again as practice pages. This is great for what it is a PRACTICE book. Not instructional. And at $4 it is a more than fair price.
